I am blessed with a beautiful family that supports me in every way. I strive to balance work and life to be successful in both and when I need a little picker upper, I just look at the beautiful smiles around me. Having a great staff and family has allowed me to enhance my skills in many aspects of dentistry via continuing education. I am thankful to all, especially my patients, for your trust and support.
Dr. Ghorbani has become Burke’s # 1 family dentist not only because of his extensive experience, but for his values and dental philosophy. At Shield Dental Care, Dr. Ghorbani focuses on quality comprehensive dental services in one location and built his practice around ensuring every patient is catered to with care.
Dr. Ghorbani is one of three siblings. He spent his childhood in Texas, Missouri, and Maryland.
He studied biology at the University of Maryland, College Park with emphasis on Neurophysiology and distinguished himself by his shared publication: Amplification of Asymmetric Induction in Sequentia Reactions of Bis-diazoacetates Catalyzed by Chiral Dirhodium (II) Carboxamidates.
After graduating with his Bachelors of Science. Dr. Ghorbani went on to study Dentistry at NOVA Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
An enthusiastic fan of sports, Dr. Ghorbani enjoys spending his free time at the gym, watching sports, and maintaining a regiment that maintains a healthy lifestyle and keeps his skills and instincts sharp. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, grilling, and sharing a good laugh.
As a dentist and business owner, he has entrusted the management of Shield Dental Care to his brother, Payam Ghorbani.
Dr. Ghorbani is committed to keeping up with the latest advances in dental technology and implementing them at Shield Dental Care. He also strives to build strong relationships by listening to his patients and presenting a comprehensive explanation of their treatment plan to ensure they understand all of their options.
At Shield Dental Care, Dr. Ghorbani and his team have adopted a stress-free environment, so you have a gentle and comforting experience.
Dr. Ghorbani is proud to serve the Burke community and is actively engaged in volunteering and sponsoring events.
He has volunteered at the Caridad Dental Clinic in Florida, where he provided dental care to children in under-served communities as well as the Dental HIV Center in New York.
He has dedicated his time to Implants in Paradise, where he performed dental surgeries for families in need in the Dominican Republic.
